How do I become BEE compliant?

1. You need to determine your company’s BEE status, using the Tourism BEE Charter and the Scorecard:
- by using the self-assessment tool provided by the Tourism BEE Charter Council
or
- by conducting and internal evaluation yourself
or
- by appointing an external BEE verification agency to conduct an external evalutation or rating
2. Once your BEE score has been determined you will be able to categorise your company according to its contribution to BEE.
The following ratings are applied to BEE compliant companies;
- Excellent BEE Contributors
- Good BEE Contributors
- Satisfactory BEE Contributors
- BEE Complaint SMMR’s
- Black Women Owned SMME’s
